WWE News: The Latest on John Morrison Returning to the WWE in 2012

23 Mar

After leaving the WWE last November on good terms, John Morrison has spent the past few months on the independent scene where he has a much easier schedule than that of the demanding schedule in the WWE.

With some time away from the WWE to recuperate, will we see JoMo make his way back to the company that made him a star sometime this year?

From Wrestling News Source:

In an interview with Phil Strum of the Poughkeepsie Journal former WWE Superstar John Morrison was asked possibility of returning to WWE one day. Morrison says he left on great terms and his body simply needed a break from the hectic WWE schedule:

“The door is open to go back. I left on really good terms with everybody and what I wanted to do was take time off to heal, get refreshed and take a little vacation…”

Personally, I would like to see John Morrison make his way back to the WWE after he recharges his batteries since being written off television this past November following an attack by the Miz.

Just like countless other superstars that came and gone from the WWE over the years, the company could have used Morrison much better as he had real flashes of being a main event caliber superstar during his time in the WWE.

Morrison showed that he could be a champion in the WWE after multiple runs as Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion with the Miz in addition to now defunct ECW Champion during his near decade long stint in the company.

If a return is in the cards for Morrison in the future, the WWE should definitely give him a much better push as the roster in the company is dangerously thin of main event talent to carry Raw and Smackdown each week.

So Bleachers, would you like to see John Morrison make a return to the WWE sometime this year after spending time on the less hectic independent scene?

Absolutely, if he is ready in body and mind. I would love to see a fullblown feud with The Miz, RTruth and also CMPunk who I think was making fun of JoMo always holding his injured neck in matches. Watch back the tapes of Punk around that time. Their matches were always interesting to watch, especially when JoMo won. John Morrison should be allowed to go in the ring without Vince McMahon or scriptwriters putting words in his mouth. John is funny naturally. He has great charm and charisma if allowed to be himself. Miss his presence for sure.
